DESCRIPTION

The ADA-91460-88121-FLEXRAY is an adapter board especially for Fujitsu’s 32-bit FR Flash microcontroller series. It facilitates to add FlexRay connectivity to MCU that do not comprise embedded FlexRay protocol cores.

Via the FlexRay drivers, Fujitsu FlexRay Driver or DECOMSYS::COMMSTACK library, an easy access to the FlexRay Communication Controller (MB88121) is possible. Pre-compiled examples free the user from own developments and demonstrate the capabilities of FlexRay. However with the configuration tools FlexConfig® (Demo version) or DECOMSYS::DesignerPro (Demo version) the user can design its own communication matrix and generate the initialization code for the FlexRay Communication Controller.

The ADA-91460-88121-FLEXRAY can be used together with all 32-bit Fujitsu evaluation boards (91460 series) in parallel bus interface mode. Furthermore the connection with the host MCU can also be established via a serial interface. So the ADA-91460-88121-FLEXRAY can be used with all MCU that have an appropriate SPI interface!

The board allows the designer immediately to start software development before his own final target system is available.
